Eel Scientest

Hello

Today we had a man called Don who is a scientist and study's eels and taught us some new things about eels here are some things that i learnt

. Eels can swim forwards and backwards

. Eels have a really really good smell

. Eels can sense when anything comes past

. Longfin Eels eat almost anything and are cannibals

.  Eels eat ducklings and baby birds

. Eels have evolved from other fish

.  Eels eat their food whole like snakes

. Eels jump to catch their food

. When Eels attack and bite on to things they spin around to rip something off and they spin around about 10 times a second

Those are some of the things that i learnt today here is a photo of Don with a huge eel that he caught


 

WOW THAT'S AMAZING THAT IS A HUGE EEL!!!

Room 3's Challenge

Hello Today I'm going to talk to you about the challenge we did in room 3 we had to make a building that would stay up using 20 pieces of dry spaghetti 1 metre of tape 1 metre of string 1 marshmallow it was very hard to get the spaghetti to balance and to put the marshmallow on top but eventually we did.  It wasn't very steady and fell down in about 12 seconds. It could have gone better if we didn't put the marshmallow in when we realised that we had to go higher and it went well because we were working as a team. Thank you for reading Ben.
